      Think the checklist missed out "frequency check" before switching on tx.
      Checking of the aircraft paintwork and touching up is critical too.

          It's been left out because most of them fly at clubs. All flying clubs have a frequency board and you'll have to check-in your frequency even before you step out to the tarmac.
