      Raghfrost,

A little bit of advice. When doing laminated leading, wing tips or trailing edges, its best to make a formwork following the outline desired. Wet the balsa and then laminate using your favourite slow drying glue. Wait for it to cure and dry and then remove the laminated part from the formwork for use on the wing. This way, the leading/trailing edge already has the curve required and will fit without retaining any bending forces. Its generally not a good idea to laminate directly on the wing as any bending forces from the laminated object wanting to spring back may eventually impart a warp to the wing once it is removed from the jig. If you are lucky or the rest of the wing is able to resist the bending forces, you may still get a warp free wing if not, you may end up with a bad warp that is difficult to remove unless you release the forces that have been built in. Just my two cents worth.

oh u still hugging on to tat radio...

Mayb u can cater for flaps and retracts but dont use them for now. When u hav a better radio next time, then just do a bit of mod to "activate" the flaps and install the retracts..

u know how ugly it is to c a warbird flying with gears hanging out there...

yea my love :ha.. i think i can only take this hobby to the next level after i join the workin world.. which will be like 2 or 3 more yrs. so i think it will be point less for me to build them. and the plan is not that good.. was rebuild them in 3d last night and found a lot of strustural mistakes and drawing flaws.. kinda put me down .. so most prob i will be looking at this project as a building experence.

hmmm...the polyhedral wing looks prettly well aligned, great effort. ....but seems difficult to visualize the fuse from the 3D model..

the fit was not much of a problem.. now i gotta sand the LE , glue the washout. the fuse errm... i need more time to apply the skin.. still playing with the s.w...

been a while.. the damn fuse was a real challenge to align not sure if its dead straight but i tried my best to align them.

Very nice... ...maybe build in the retract mounts so that u only need to open the wheel wells when ready to install retracts....

can refer to the top filte manual for retract mount, it's not difficult at all...just gluing hardwood.

For installation of mechanical retracts, I have search the world for almost a month to find u this demo...
