    can it fly

Hi, my plane AUW is about 512g or about 18oz.
    Wing area about 0.807 sqft.

This give wing loading about 22~23 oz/sqft.

    Motor is rated 2650Kv
    Batt is lipo 25c 2200mAh, 11.1v 3S
    prop 5x3

    Would i hv enough power?

i hv made rough estimate: thrust would be about 856g speed 133kph at 29000rpm. Is it right?

That's a speed glider, dude, exercise some patience some of them are too busy with work. Anyhoo, do a search for Speed Glider or SP glider. You're bound to find a thread with setup in it here. ;)

Chill blueangel, ;) ALOT of the flyers flew the speed glider before lah. Just that most of them are busy. I wish I can help, but I have no experience with the speed glider.

i had one before, using hxt2835-3900 with 4.75x4.75, too much imho, 3s2200 can only manage 5mins. i think 2650kv motor with 5-6" prop will fly better and easier on the battery
                    -Ehawk 2000 Pro
                    -Mouton 1600 EV
                    -AMD micro chili
                    -HK Kinetic800

                      thanks for the advice.

                      almost done with the build.

did a final ground test today.
Prop flies loose when given a full throttle.

How to secure it more firmly?

had my very first flight of rc plane yesterday with the speed glider.
Really an unforgettable, most stressful, most adrenaline filled experience in my life so far.
It was not too fast, imo, with the align prop that comes with the kit. Managed to do a few reasonable [for a first timer] banking and turning before getting over confident and tried to fly close, forgetting a big tree behind. Crashed onto the tree top and plane drop straight down to the ground. Miraculously surviving the 6~7m fall with only minor dents on both wing tip LE.

Lesson learnt here that is never available from simulators:
                          --situation awareness is critical.
-- planning flight path before launching.

Would like to express my gratitude and thanks to Unorthodox_Sniper, who helped me to launch and stand by me during the whole exciting first flight, giving me valuable advices. He told me before launch to have a flight path in mind first. But in my excitement, didn't really take heed of that.
He is really very helpful. Glad to know that there is helpful and knowledgeable folks here after all.

also, my thanks to my friend who introduced me recently to the Realflight G4 simulator, which re-activate my confidence in this hobby. Else, my planes and radio would be still collecting dust in my storerm since 3yrs ago.

Used to haf this few years back fitted with 3300kv align motor with 35A ESC.
                            1800mah 20C & 4.75X4.77 or 4.1X4.1 APC props.

I flew well & can be as fast as pylon racer. Well for some reasons... it couldnt fly anymore... v hard to explain.... well hope to see it soon... Rotor doesnt bring in anymore...unless go Taiwan.

It's great that your glider did not get stuck up the tree like mine. Have to leave it up there overnight and when performing repairs, found a bloated 2S lipo, a burnt out servo and ripped tail.

when flying it recently, finally have to retire it as the tail come off mid-flight and went into an uncontrolled spiral.

Good call on the flight path planning, but sometimes weather plays a part. A sudden gust of wind at times can throw you off a planned path.
                              Relax and Enjoy The Hobby.
Note to self: Must stop buying too much stuff.
