How to cut carbon rods!
Hi Bros!
I would recommend us to :
1. use masking tape to wrap around the area to cut.
2. mark the area line on the masking take
3. use a small saw for woodwork/handycraft, saw around the carbon rod marked line.
4. slow down the sawing movement especially when its about to break.
Be extra careful when you remove all the carbon dusk or remains.
If you use a plier to just snip off the rod, it may slip at ends and tiny spikes gets into your finger will be very painful and dangerous.
use masking or scotch tapes to stick-off the residues on the floor or areas where it sprinkles on.
Finally peel off the masking tape on the carbon rod ends, you will most of the time get a nice finishing. Else, sand paper or use a fine file to smoothen the edges.
