    E-starter

    Hi guys,

i got a e-starter and below are the specs.

    GS Outrunner Brushless Motor 1120KV
    HobbyWing 18A ESC
    Esky 9g servos

i'm just not sure what batt is suitable..

    i've got a
    Lithium polymer battery
    1320mAh, 11.1v(3S)
    12c-15c continuous discharge
    20c in short burst

    and a
    Polyquest batt

Are the batteries suitable for my plane? and another thing is, the batteries seems too fat and big for the hatch.. what am i suppose to do?

thanks in advance! and merry xmas!!

Both batt can be used but it will be a little heavy for ur plane if u use the Polyquest batt, provided u have to enlarge the hole to suit the batts.

You could also tape the battery under the belly.

what i did to mine was to remove the plastic battery hatch, cut out some foam according to the battery measurement and made a cover for the battery to hold it in place...

              Velcro

just a thumbs up for you, depending on where you put your velcro for your batt, pls have additional securing. my 1st few flights i depended on the velcro alone and did some loops, the batt came off. lucky it was still hanging on with the dean connections.

                Hey bro...

Make sure you don't always full trottlle on your GS 1120KV motor... your 18A ESC seems to be under power...

Maximam current drawn using a 10 inch prop can go up to 26A max... your hobbywing 18A ESC may blow up

Check out the details from the link below...

I'll advise not to do that coz if the wheels give way...chances are ur batt will be dented & it is not a good thing...

                      Batt hatch done!
balsa wood to make a flip cover and velcro to close.. and i use velcro inside to secure the batt. i think i'll change the old 18a esc to a 25a? and decided to use a 9x6e prop for a steady flight
