Here is another new toy to share

This arrived together with the Extra300 epp so I thought I'll share the initial impression with you first.

The flight report will have to come after I'm finished with the earlier model.
I've decided to do the Extra300 first as it's easier to fly 3D/freestyle ...this Silent epp is more fashioned toward F3A/F3P which requires more disipline and gracefullness

You know how it's like for boys with new toys, right ? ...after the initial euphoria ...the dawning hits you ! ...too many toys, too little time !

Components out of the box

It as airfoiled wings consisting of 2mm epp sheet wrapped over an epp ribs and spar frame, with CF strips re-inforcement.

The fuselage is nice, it has internal CF strips re-inforcement and motor mount epp block which wraps around the wings.

It also has a cloth re-inforcement patch around the motor area as well as the velcro ends wear area to prevent tearing.

Here are the feathers showing the CF re-inforcement between the 2mm epp sheets.

Aileron, Rudder, Elevator/Horizontal Stab.

BTW, the site only allows one plane per order.

Can lah ! ...I've ordered them together (Extra and Silent) as well as with other stuffs.

...One plane per order applies to their really BIG models with shipping weight in excess of 3kg.
They even stated with their 10e models, can order 2 box at a go and these are much bigger than the epp.

The question should be "How many boxes can you order at one go ?"

Yup ! ...showed it to the wife and said it's a $10 "toy" and she fell for it !

epp really does look cheap !
