wow! that's really cool paintwork you got there!

besides the livery, have you do anything mods in it?
or how about some performance tests on ground?

i heard this was one of the fastest 64mm edf in the market, wonder how true it was.

                      give me some updates ok!?
also if ever you'll gonna maiden this bird, do drop me a note. i'll be bringing my half done F 35 to join & support you!

                        rotating anus eh!?

hehe...actually it could be done. but it'll need a major operation to ply the plane open & some very precise calculation of the thrust & lift etc.

my first thoery to do it is; you'll need a second smaller DF mount just after
the canopy for the front lift. also, the stock 64mm DF have to be modify to turn downwards. the intake will be block by the smaller 55mm DF in front so some magic is required to overcome this.

i reckon a total of at least 8 servos required to achieve the ' rotating anus' bird. i have a second F 35 half built &i could well take a plunge to do tis mod.

first thing first, i must learn how to fly with my cessna, i'm a newbie in RC. i only have 30+ years of plastic modeling experience & 10+ in aviation line, hope it enough for me to think aboutthis weird anus thing!

Its pretty impossible because all the extra weight you're carrying will render the F35 too heavy to lift off the ground vertically. Even if you're able to ROG successfully, the aircraft will fly very "heavy".

Secondly, assuming you're able to lift off ground successfully, controlling by manipulating your duct fan will be hell

Rule no 1, never tell an RC guy impossible. :P

I was thinking rather than turning the whole fan down, why not just direct the thrust down?

Stabilizing the plane during hover is the challenging thing to do. I suppose the F35 may have more thrust vectoring "gadgets" around it to help stabilizing it. I was thinking of a variable pitch fan in the middle which will work something like the main rotor of a heli.
