    About 3D planes?

    Hi,
I want to know if this plane can do 3D flying.
(Like it can hover above ground)(like heli)

The plane i want to know would be Katana Mini 39in from jet hobby?

    Its at http://www.jethobby.com.sg

    Anyone who fly this before?

Is it easy to fly???--------or very hard to fly????
Can it be a 3D flying?

You might want to consider getting a foam plane e.g. formosa, before springing for the katana mini. A foamie will be more forgiving and easier to repair after crashes in most cases.

fomosa is definitely a great choice for intermediate level. agile and stable. can fly real slow. easy to repair, mine had gone throu abt 20 repair b4 i decide to decom it.

Let me share an experience with you, i thought i can fly after doing stunts and alot of flying on my slowstick, but i totalled my BusyBee last weekends. Fix everything wanted to maiden it, 1st flight was ok but very fast and sensitive although not a 3d plane, i quite phobia how a 3d plane will react

I crash it on 2nd flight after repairing abit, it's very fast and sensitive although i set my Exp to -40%

You might wanna get a formosa to try 1st, cheaper also. My BusyBee is a foamie but cost $120. Very sad now............

A formosa is a nice low wing plane that will cut the wind in some instance and float around other times. Depending on your experience, it can be lots of fun or very stressful till you get the hang of how it behaves in the air. Anyhow a bang up usually mean blobs of epoxy before it get flying again which is the nice part.

I went through 2 of these planes before I took the electronics out for a new plane. At $59 only for the plane body you cant go wrong lah.

The F3A from Jet is quite similiar too and at $59 ARF no need much building sounds a better choice.

Yeeks the color and design looks so much like my Estarter :P

I thought the Formsa II has already replaced this. Why not consider that instead?

Balsa some more! And it's quite small!

This could start me off in simple 3d flying....as well as teaching me how to fix balsa stuff.
