OK, let me try, I don "fly" a E starter before but base on thumb of rule, if you want easy & safe handling, go for a C/D gearing w bigger prop, it will deliver more thrust and easier for recovery in the event of stall. Go for B/C w smaller prop to got in high speed flying
Base on my point of view, Estarter is build for slow flying. Hence you need more thrust over speed. As for slowflyer, is no point to use high speed setup. It will only cause more problem as the actual air speed of the plane is so much slower than the prop speed. This will result unnecessary lost of power and worst vibration of the prop. (it may even break )
At the same time, do consider the battery you are going to use 2S will be fine , 3S will give you more margin on throttle but may not be necessary unless you are using really high gear ratio with large prop.
So I would recommend C with 9070 for general flying and C with 1080 for more aggressive flying. Do remember Estarter is not design for 3D. It is a basic trainer. As the wing profile is the fact.
