    Adding weights to balance CG

Hi guys, can somone pls tell me what methods do you use to balance your CG if your plane is too nose heavy, I know weights can be added but i would really love to know what other methods you guys have and i wanna use that method. Hope you guys don mind and share me some ideas cos my plane is NOse heavy, and i dont wanna jus put weights that are visible on the plane, i wana hide in the fuselage, so hope you guys can be some Ides.
Oh ya guys, its a 50 size Nitro.
    Thanks in Advance guys..

No buddy cant do that, everything is in a Fixed osition, Isnose heavy cos reinforced the firewall and undercarriage, so added weights behind cant move anything, cos limited space, so no choice gotta add weights, so i wanna do it so that the weights are not visible and its neat.
      thanks guys..
      cheers

        You are flying nitro?
If everything is sealed up then the least obvious place is at the elevator, on the underside...this also gives the max effect with the least amount of wt added.

Just curious, did u really overkill on the reinforcement or u overpowering ur plane with a bigger engine

Sometime you have to used a bit of your own idea to make it work for you not the other way round, things is dead the position can be move further back it just how you want it to do, things don't have to fit where it is shown.

thanks buddy, Bigger Engine but not really much to do with Engine, Also Reinforcements, cos Fiberglas cloth had to be added so thus causing it to be heavy, Yup flying Nitro, thought bout a few ideas but just seeing what others do when they run into this.
            thanks buddy..

If shifting RC gear, especially the battery packs, isn't enough, I will normally drill a hole on a solid area of balsa at the rear (eg, fin post, tailwheel mount) wide and deep enough to take the lead shots needed to balance the plane. Shot gun lead pellets (refill) works best. Then seal with epoxy. Finally recover the spot with moneykote. Becomes almost invisible.

They come in different sizes depending on the guage of the shot gun and the size of the animal hunted. For our purpose, the small ones are best as you can get the most weight in the least amount of space. They are like tiny ball bearings made of lead.

Lead shot is also used for making soft weights used by scuba divers. They come in standard 1 kilo bags. You can get them at most dive shops in town. Expensive way to buy lead shot but 1 bag is more than sufficient to last a long long time for our purpose (unless you have lots of very tail/nose heavy planes )

Lead shot is not sold locally. I got it from Australia. As far as I know, the only source locally is if you buy soft weights readilly sold at scuba diving equipment shops. Each bag will yield about 1 kilo of lead shot. Enough to last you a long long time.

Or you might want to consider tackle shop? They have different sizes of lead weight for fishing. And they do sell lead pellets in small quantity.
