TWM LA Flyer - new kid on the block

Having whetted my appetite for flying again (thanks to an electric Cub), here's a new kid on the block in the making... a "LA Flyer" from The World Models. She's classed by the manufacturer as a trainer... just the ticket for getting back into flying

Had to pull my trusty 46FX out of hibernation... last saw action in Tuas with RMS in Jan 2003! Been asleep for so long she's been superseded by the 46AX

Mufsin, Dragon Slayer (and the rest of the nitro bros), will be joining you guys in the air shortly... just gimme another weekend to finish her

Does anyone use an Airtecnic PPM receiver on their nitro or BL plane (i.e. the one sold by JH)? Just wondering what its range is like. Is it's range comparable to the regular sized PPM receivers that usually come with Futaba/Airtronics/JR or is the range of the Airtecnic a lot shorter? Thankx
