1st pic is what it looks like before folding the wing shape.

The rest is just what is looks like after folding. I got a feeling it's going to be damn twitchy due to small wing span...approx 80cm tip to tip.

damn twitchy , no, reduce rate very stable, can fly in strong wing. Good wing penetration.

I reduce to 50%, as per suggestion. It will be quite an experience flying this as I can;t even fly normal plane properly.

Mugi is one of the most enjoyable plane to fly for me. Looking good.

The one thing I might note is that the coro we have is heavier, so people usually put in quite a powerful power system to fly it and that means heavy wingloading and fast flying. It should be a blast

It's done.

Ok. So I got it completed. Then realised the motor is slanted a little to the left (viewd from behind). *sigh*. (Sorry for crappy pix. Left real camera at office.)

Feels a bit heavy. Maybe too much black tape...

CG about 10cm behind proposed. Gotta find something to shove inside nose.

At full throttle, doesn't seem to have much thrust.
Anyhow whack reflex. Looks like abt 8 or 10mm.

Will try to maiden this Sunday.

the prop might be a bit too big..test the amp draw first....you might need try 4030 props....I'll bring some to let you try....

let it be a little head heavy...better control...but trim when maiden..

are you running on 2cell or 3?

Hi John,

Heheh, the prob is not that it's head heavy. Now it's tail heavy. Using 2S. Don;t have any other lipo. Actuallly the prop is recommended by the designer.....so I just try lah. Must go and get prop saver, too. Gunther prop is push-on.
