    Your Fomosa1 setup

Dear all, was daydreaming, when it struck to me what you guys out there who own the Fomosa1 have as setup. Have gone through threads for past 5 pages but none is solely on F1. Pls help me by sharing the below and more if possible.

    1. Motor
    2. ESC
    3. Lipo
    4. Prop
    5. Weight ( including all electronics & lipo )
    6. What brand of fomosa? Cos I dont know if there are more than 1 brand.

OTers will be + and I'll make you so dont or will your head

    1. Motor

Himax 2025 with gearbox, AXI 2212/26 or AXI 2808/24 will do fine

    2. ESC

Any 20A esc should do fine but most reccomend Castlecreations ESCs, Jeti Spin and Quark.

    3. Lipo

Anything in the region of 1320 -1800 should do fine. Battery should be at least 13C if capacity is around 1320 down to at least 10C if it's around 1800.

    4. Prop

Prop depends on motor and can be chosen from the prop chart provided with the motor. Generally, 10X7, 11X7, 11X4.7 are all common props.

    5. Weight ( including all electronics & lipo )

Anywhere from 400grams if you build light to around 600++grams if you build it like a tank.

    6. What brand of fomosa? Cos I dont know if there are more than 1 brand.

Only GWS makes the F3A plane named formosa.

      My formosa1

      1. Himax2025-4200, on 6.6ratio
      2. Align 20A esc
      3. PQ1800mah 3S
      4. 12X6,12X7, 11X7, 10X8, I like 11x7 best
      5. Around 600g++ with 2 alieron servos and other reinforcement mod, last measured with my "NEEDLE KITCHEN SCALE", so not as accurate as digital scale.

Power wise its pretty ok, but I can do with more power.

KM, see you Sun morning. As for my F1, depends on whether it can live through Sat in the hands of a noob flyer

You never see Durex coaching me on my rudder skill with ES .... He almost screaming at me le and me and tease me say I don't use rudder might as well take them out since they useless He never tell me take out my rear wheel cos my taxi skill bad, always bang into kerb!
But I LOVE to be taught this way In the end I can turn the ES just by rudder & maintain altitude with ele.
Will need more practice to be more natural with my rudder ...
