      Phoenix-2000

How about the PHOENIX-2000? It comes with 2 set of wings that can form 4 different flying styles. The best thing about this plane is you seldom need to change prop after a crash.
After so many years, I am still a beginner

Alamak, I know I sell you my Super ZOOM. I had that after my Estarter and had over 100 flights with it aldy...

Go for SZ man, maade of EPP. I wont say it is indestructible but it repairs very easily. All crashes, major or otherwise can be repaired in the field.

          Cheers

kinda regret selling off my multiplex space scooter.. it looks so much like the formosa and the quality of the foam and molding is really good.

the acromaster seems tempting.. what power system does it require?

actually i am thinking of some nice scale planes that i can run on my 2s.. cos i got a bunch of 2s batts

Just want to make a point. When someone or anywhere in the book says a second plane, it assumes that you are fully capable of taking-off, flying and landing your first plane. If you are getting another model because you crashed it or you write it off due to numerous damages received from bad landings, that does not count. If that's the case, you should go for the same type of plane, not a low-winger.

But of course, you may have already knew that.

Agree with Joe Yap. I'm a very good example . I thought I could handle Zero after I stop having major crashes on my EStarter, till I had a hands on did I realise how difficult low wings are. Just plain flying is a tricky, let alone landing. But must admit the speed turns me on, guess I'm a speed demon
Now I know why the rest are flying big planes eg. F2, one common thing is that they're all experienced flyers, and funny thing is they still crash

detach admit it! Joe spoke your mind!

I think it wud be best to rebuild your E-starter and continue flying it for a while more.

                    Cheers!

If you think can handle, maybe can try a formosa? I remember I flew my e-starter till it really couldn't be repaired, I tried to kill it many times, but each time, it ends up repairable. So I guess you can imagine how much time and fun I had on the e-starter before moving on. Still, I crashed my formosa on its maiden after 2mins, because it was SO FAST relative to the e-starter. Nonetheless, it was managable.

I feel that the easiest plane after an e-starter is actually a nitro low wing trainer with a good engine, coz the last time when I had my seagull low wing trainer, I always think that it floats so well, way better than my formosa. Yet, the flying capability is not limited like a e-starter, not to mention the arf is only $99, yes, $99 for a arf air frame that is 40sized.

                        Detach,

come join us at Punggol, you came once if I remember correctly. We have a good mix of experienced and new fliers with quite a good variation of plane types. I think it would be good for you to put the runway available to good use too and see what planes you would like to progress to from there.

The fastest crafts there now are dominated by flying wings ranging from speed like 120mph to 50mph unless Joe Yap pops by with his pylon keke. There is also a pink polka dot flying wing that is incredibly entertaining to look at, just ask Jimboxxxxxxx. Then there is the pattern/ 3D crowd like Formosa (foam), Profile planes (foam), Acromaster (foam) extra 300 (balsa), Brios (Balsa), Yak 54 (balsa) etc. There is also a group that will sometimes show up with very interesting plane like Frankenstein estarter, C130, some high wing balsa gentle flyer and gliders alike etc. Not to forget also the newer fliers who are on estarters and beavers and some beginner heli fliers like msyelf and William on Belt CP.

It is a good mix and can be extremely entertaining to watch them fly , just ask Mr Checkered pants, The Man in pink or Mr Polka Dot, they will be happy to give you some accounts

Just look at the attached pics and look for them Just be careful of the Polka dot man, there are 2 of him and also, if the man in pink doesn't come but the man in yellow will.

Stop looking for a gyro in my plane, they are all in the head.

lol yea i just got used to .. (no take off cos i always hand launch.. my landing gear was lost in the field after it fell off mid air) flying, some simple acrobatics and landing so.. i thought maybe should get something more exciting as well...
i used to try flying the multiplex space scooter when i first STARTED.. which was horrible experience because.. yea.. i was a noob and worst even i was afraid to fly high.
