    Throttle trim

Fly my plane this morning and played around with the trhottle trim but doesnt seem to have any effect. What does it serve actually? The minor difference i discovered is that the further i push up the adjustor, the more sensitive it gets, ie, the motor starts to throttle earlier and soemtimes even starts up by itself.

    Thks.

    For electric
Tx without throttle curve and Rx without auto throttle end point adjust. -adjust on Tx to the point the motor starts to spin or maybe slightly below that.

    For Nitro
Adjust the engine throttle cut point or idle point. Depends how u want to use it.

      Hi Suf,

better check with your manual what trim you are adjusting.

normally for trims are to adjust limits or minor movements / range.

To adjust the sticks to control minor movements, its call Exponentials.(Check your manual).

for throttle, you will see this minor moment obvious on nitro planes as the servos will open the engine's venturi valve via servos.

however, on electric planes, this minor movements on throttle highly depends on your ESC, how many steps does the speed progress.
check your ESC brand and specs will help.

      cheers!

Some brand ESC and transmitter (usually the cheaper ones) will require you to mess with trim to arm the esc for a flight. Seen that and troubleshooted for quite a no of people who had this problem.
Stop looking for a gyro in my plane, they are all in the head.
