Static draw 70amps......really under utilizing the motor.
Need more voltage to really power this motor....but need NimH cells. 16 would better. Tried the old Siren 10 cell pack and it only pushed to 40amps...
More cells, bigger ESC which i dont have.....now with lipo, the plane is nose heavy....Problem leh....

I think I have a new SubC 10 cells matched battery that yet to see the innard of a plane. Will check once back home.

OK after balancing the plane with 105 grams of dead weight....sigh...the plane is now 1600grams...

The orginal plane weight with 16 cells is suppose to be up to 2.1 kg....i will take the lightest setup anyday....still waiting for that 50C continous 4000mah pack thats the size of a 2100 pack today.

OK looks like the final flying weight is around 1530 grams...I tested her at half throttle tonight and the "breezed" slammed my door shut...

Thanks to Loyn for the magic hands the maiden of the Raketenwurm 2B(RW2B) went very well today. The beautiful blue sky morning was a really refreshing change from the past weeks haze. Managed to do 2 flights. The landing with the butterfly was a non event...slow and steady she floated down into a mound of freshly cut grass . Turns corners like a pylon racer with the snap flaps Holds energy very well....after coming down from a 45 degree dive, she still managed to do 3 loops.

Her climbs are with a lot of authority but I would not classify it as super fast. Maybe a bit faster than the Tumeric. But her fly byes power off screams are little gentler than the Siren while holding energy very well!!!

As with the Demon, when you fly her away or directly toward you..she disappears due to the thin profile....a bit scary.
