Rx antenna chopped!

Hi yesterday i was careless and had the antenna on the rx chopped abt 5 cm by the spining prop! Just wondering how much would the 5cm affect on the range? Sure the range will be decreased but by how much?? anyone has the same experience??

I really wonder how such an accident happenned... i normally extend mine all the way till the stabilizers. Probably you would want to tell us how long is your RX wire. A 5cm-cut may be negligible.

Just replace the rx antenna to be sure.....it's less then $3 and I am sure your model cost much more........
