for very fast speed400 size planes, it is safer to get more reliable, precise (good servos will self-centre better) & more durable (they don't strip easily during a rough landing) servos.

Using Hitec as reference, if you can afford, first choice is HS-65MG (metal gears) followed by HS-65HB (karbonite gears).

For the FunJet, I read from ezonemag there are people who use multiplex 480-4D (3250 kv) on apc 5x5 on 20C 2500-3S lipo and can get 170km/h But the current drain is 40amps static so you need good 20C lipo.

I just bought the motor few days ago from NTC, will try it out this weekend

                  170km/h?

nar dont think the airframe can take that speed

cost NTC selling 111 for the plane
                  running typhoon 4w on Tp2100 and cc25 2x hitec 55

                  fun to fly.

for colour, just normal nippon spray can ok liao.

Jurgen said that and his info are mostly accurate.
oh yes the airframe can take that stress, unless you do a high speed vertical dive and pull it up immediately maybe then it will fail.

I'll try this setup this Sat and see what is the speed on the radar gun

                            wah 170km/h!! blazing fast.
i think we need to make a speed capture test stand so that we can house the radar gun on the stand n trigger it remotely, for safety and so that the pilot can have something to aim at when flying the plane towards the speed gun for speed capture.
                            what's next?
