    Hey guys.
    Just to continue.
    Heres my Canopy retaining mod.
Originally the canopy required 2 small self tapping screws to retain it onto the fuse.
I felt that this was too troublesome and it would take too long a time if something were to happen.
In order to improve the situation, i bent two short pieces of thick piano wire.
This would slide into the holes originally for the screws. There would be no forces acting laterally on the pins. So they shoudnt come flying out during flight. But i did rough them out with sandpaper.
    Refer to pics.

    Thanx!

I forgot to mention at the very beginning of the thread that one has to check for any warps in the ailerons.
Skyhobbies has explained that due to humidity changes from Australia to singapore, the covering tends to shrink or expand.
If you refer to the pic, you would be able to tell that the end of the aileron is not lined up.

In order to straighten out the aileron, use a simple covering/light iron and slowly bend the aileron back into shape, ironing out any wrinkles. It takes time, but it works.

Next, i mounted the Aileron servos.
Servos used are HS55. I didnt use the original control rods given as they were too short. i was going to use EZ connectors.

Anyway, any KM buyer BEWARE, though control rods come shrink wrapped with the metal horn at the end, DO NOT USE THEM. Remove the shrinkwrap and CA the metal horn to the CF rod. I continued to strenthen the joint by wrapping thread and CA. Refer to pics.
It will fail if this mod is not done.

I mounted the elevator at the back.
I feel that the elevator needs the most positive response.
Servo is the new HS65. Small size but it packs a punch. I also used a 30cm extension from the back. Abit too long, but it will work.
Had to enlarge the servo openings.

            Sorry for the delay guys.
Build going really slow due to school work.
            Will update asap.

            Thanx!
