    My new e-starter

I found that the battery compartment is very small, even 2C lipo is too tight to put in. Any of you guys have this problem, need some advise from you BRO.

    cheers

2S 1200mAH Lipo should fit if u cut the compartment abit.

But if u get 1700mAH 2S, then u probably use the suggestion by ArtSpec.

If course, u can still cut the compartment bigger. But definitely, u can't use the default configuration provided by GWS.

I cut the battery compartment bigger to fit my 3 cell lipo. Make it a tight fit. And made a small strap with valcro to secure it.

Sorry to go OT here, but the coloured tape stuck on the wings came with the kit? I'm looking for a place that sells this kind of adhesive film. Anyone here knows where to get? It will save a lot of hassle spraying my planes with paint.

                Thank you!

ArtFriend (takashimaya) sells that kinda coloured tape. An expensive option would be Monokote trim sheets from NTC.

i went art friend (takashimaya, not bras basah) on sat, they still had lots of it. Trim sheets are stickers, not that expensive. ard 6 dollars for a long narrow sheet.

                            Hi,
I used 2S 1600mah LiPo from JH for my E-starter. I used the original battery bay and cut about 5mm deeper to accomodate the battery and the wire. The width was ok, with about 1mm space on each side.
I also cut both ends of the plastic cover to have the ESC wire and the battery wire out to switch on/off the power.

With the 2S on the GWS350 brushed motor, I flew about 20 mins on half trottle.

                            See you guys this weekend!!
