Get a 40 size low wing Phoenix Scanner! This is a low cost trainer plane.

              Hi Boonie,

Before you go into nitro, it is advisable that you decide where you would be flying at and whether there are other experience guys who can help you out. Perhaps you can go and recce first. And play it safe, okie?

              Cheers.

Glow starter (a.k.a glow heater) range from $10 - $40. Pending if you need to buy the charger, the capacity, and if it has a meter built in.

Anyway.. another point to consider is, if you have transport to bring you to the field.. and if the transport you taking can accomodate the plane..... (don't assume it can fit into the car boot).
                huh

you can get SHS price list off their web site.

exact price they listed in Sept 05 is $185.60. It may differ now since the price list is already 3 months old.

You guys good lah! from estarter to low wing nitro plane sure or not?? I would suggest to get a high wing nitro plane 1st as there is alot of difference in electric and nitro, 1st is the speed next is a low wing is not as forgiving as a high wing plane, crawl first than start to walk lah.

Do take note that nitro planes fly considerably faster than what most will be accustomed to for an E-starter. landing needs more room as well.
