hello all
after three tries and many extensive nights of labour(not really) i give you the spa3d
the spec: material 4mm coroplast(also knon as coro)
3mm thick aluminum U-channel
engine: ASP 40 swinging a master airscrew nylon 10x4 (going to change to an 11x4 to get a bit more out of the engine)
radio equitment: standard futaba s3003 servos x 5 (2 for the ails instead of one, i had the spare and thought ide give flaperons a try) futaba 6 ch rx
you can note on the attached pics that the rear of the fuse is extensively drilled to reduce wieght
flying weight totaled to be 4plbs and 12 ounces a bit much and could definately do with a more powerful engine
hope this inspires all of you potential spaders

the plane does harriers very well and i think that is my favourite 3d manouver, right now it dosnt have enough power to hover or go vertical so i thing i will replace the 40 size with an 80 4 stroke, double the cubic inches double the power
