Help needed on Multiplex Easy Glider

Hi,

I recently bought a Max Motors 400F brushless motor thinking of upgrading the stock power plant of the easy glider. However, I discover that I can't get a 3mm screw to fit the 400F motor into the stock gearbox. The screw slot for the stock gearbox is too small.

Have anyone done this before and what is your solution to this problem?
