Its a careful combination of rudder and aileron. Very difficult. mine always ends up as a knife edge...

Acomplished this in G2 but when I tried on my profile plane, also ended up in a knife edge. Usually an inverted flat spin is easier to do. To do that it should be a combination of down elevator, right rudder and slight right alieron. Ned to throttle up slightly to get into the spin. Got a few ways o enter into this, my favourite is from a stall then spin. Hope you can get what I am saying. Anyhow, check out 3D Cirkus, they have a video on it.

not every plane can do a nice flat spin leh!

flying cirkus planes cost a bomb!

Ur 3d spad control surfaces look a little small to do a decent flat spin....

My fliton extra does nice flats..... But the problem is that i cannot do it.... The nose doesn't seem to pull up....

What i did was to pull elevator, full left rudder and full right aileron..... Nw... what next?

You need to pump in a bit of throttle to bring the nose up. Also doubt it is full ailerons. Then again, I guess it will be different with each plane. I still end up with a knife edge spin on mine. Waiting to try it out on my SU-31 and Extra. Bet ya Gowest can do it.

My Chips can achieve that easily. Being a regular sport low-winger, it does not have oversize ailerons that most modern aerobatic and 3D plane possess that tend to fall into a knife edge instead. However, you 'll need a lot of rudder area and throws.

First, idle the throttle just before the wings stall, apply full rudder on either side and snap the throttle to full, which will induce a regular spin. After entering a spin, snap the throttle open again and apply SOME opposite aileron. Too much here will tend to knide edge the plane. Keep the throttle full and this will bring the nose up and the plane will fall like a fallen flower.

To recover, idle the engine, neutralise the rudder the ailerons, and push some down elevator. Some planes may require a little opposite rudder to recover.

Anyway I believe the bigger the plane, the better it will 3D and in this case spin.
