    Totally clueless

Hello everyone. I am not into planes but i like to get one of those for my dad's birthday. Those that can fly.
I have no idea which model to get. There seemed to be so many kinds.
i personally like wood types but i am not sure whether is that good or bad.

I did some research but all the motor and stuff kind of confused
me and i have no idea what is it talking about.
Could anyone tell me which kind of model of planes should i get, hopefully it is under $150?
I really have no idea. Any help is welcome. Thank you.

p.s where can I get them in singapore?
Are there any shops that specially sell those things? Don't really like to order online cuz it is a last min thing.

is ur dad already flying planes? as in he has all the neccessary stuff and u are just buying him a new plane? if not, 150 will probably not be enough.

fook hai building next to chinatown point has a few rc shops that you can go browsing.

yes u can get all the neccessary stuff u need at fook hai, and probably more. but at 150 u probably cannot everything that is needed. u need to up ur budget i guess. the variety available at fook hai will probably make ur choice harder, since there's like 4 rc shops there, i guess u should be looking for a ready to fly package that is a high wing trainer.
