    50 mm EDF.

Hi I am interested to know what Brushless motor can be use for the 50mm EDF from Jet hobby and Champion .
Fan was intended for speed 180 brushed motor.

It would be great could let me know the type of motor, KV and current rating.
Current drawn and thrust if any would help.

Sorry I do not have the figures for the Jet fan but you could try a Himark/Himax 2025-4200 or the next faster version (5200 I think) or a Hacker B20-12L (~11A on 3S).

They work quite well in the WeMoTec micro fans. Not sure though if the fans from one of the 2 shops can withstand the RPM.

    Some advertising, sorry !!
If you are keen in a WeMotec Micro Fan have a look at www.rc-warbirds.com the price is 40S$ and will be available tomorrow.
Spare part support is also available so in case something happens you do not need to purchase the full fan unit again.

I posted some question whether the Wemotec micro-fan can be use on the speed 400 class motor and I found the answer at your website.
A friend pass me a 3.8KV BL motor rated at 16amps max.
Weights about 65gms and same dimension as the regular brushed speed400 motors.
It has been lying in the drawers for sometime.
Would like to try this motor on wemotec micro-fan.

Do you think this class of motor can be use with this fan?

I am targeting max current about 15amps with 3 cells lipo at full bore.

If I want to get the fan from you how do I go about?
        Do you have a shop somewhere-address ?

        Cheers
