nice idea.... but i think that you may have a real chalenge on your hands... the first thing that strikes me is the amount of ANhedral so the wings lift producing capability is reduced and also the roll rate and hence the instability of the plane will be enourmass...
now in the movie the plane was designed to be pilotless and for good reason too....!
also becasuse of the anhedral wing and the reduced capability of lift you will have to travel much faster to generate the same lift as if there was no anhedrel(im not realy sure how you spell this word>>> )
but if you can make one and fly it ... full marks for you....

hmmm...maybe for the frame you could use som small PVC or light Aluminum tube in a sort of T shape, you drill two wholes in a peice of aluminum tube that are at an the angle of the an hedrial then craft some depron wings...

correct me if i m wrong. the scoop wings will create the plane to a face downward flight. how can u avoid this?

Hi guys, birds don't fly with vertical stab do they?

You can shape the tail so that it is not obstrusive and yet give you the stability ...like a bird.

Sorry for posting the BBAFC RC Jamboree thread in DH.
I am really shock & sorry to hear such a reply from DH.
My intention is to share infos with others and I always thought that this is a place to meet and to share our hobby.
Since you had stated it so clearly that my posting are not welcome in DH, I really have nothing to say.
