CNC Heli Boom Support

Requested by JYHELI, heres a preview of a pair of custom boom support.

Width 47mm and dia. 22mm x 8mm thick AL6061

Raw material is cut to size using Proxxon FET table.

After which part is put on Sherline CNC machine for the rest of the operation.

how did you drill the side mounting holes ?

I use a Proxxon drilling machine and locate manually.

You can setup CNC G-Code and use a dial test indicator to align the part.

Then use an edge finder to local the edge of the part accurately to get X0Y0 ... http://shop.sgtooling.com/index.php?...&productId=137
