Can Anyone do this?

Hi,
I would need an adpator plate for my scorpion motor 3026 series. The spacing is needed to adapt a 25mm(Motor) to 20mm(frame) hole spacing and the aluminum would need to be 6mm or 8mm thick. Can anyone undertake this at a reasonable cost? Or does anyone know where I could possibly get this done in Singapore.

Dear Chye,

His requirement is different from mine. His is using a big motor of 25mm PCD onto a smaller 19mm PCD mount.

Mine is using a small motor of 19mm PCD onto a bigger 25mm mount.


For him, the 25mm holes will be unthreaded and countersunk. The 19mm has to be threaded. For me, its the direct opposite.


His is big motor to small mount.
Mine is small motor to big mount.

I have problems making the counter sunk holes.

That adaptor is selling for about 23US. Anyone knows where I can source for 6 to 8mm aluminum plates? Also I would need some tools to countersink the holes. Do you guys know where I can get these supplies? For sure the usual DIY shops won't have them.

I think it will be cheaper for you to just order that part than to get it custom fabricated.
