          cnc

hi, im looking for a cnc service too, but here is the catch, its for airsoft part, most of the parts is a pot metal, so ill try to replace it with a hi grade or hard aluminum, atleast better than pot metal, i dont have the part now, but im wondering how much will it cost me, the use of the item is a motor cage, it holds the motor, and it has a lot of torque to fight with. ill post the pic. soon. tnx!!!

                IMO there is 2 option:-

                1) Go back to the mfr and try to buy that particular housing.

                2) Get raw alu and get a Rotary tool and "crave" out the require shape and housing. Make sure you get one with POWER.

Reason: It will cost a bomb if someone were to cnc this part for you. The reverse engineering work is a substantial sum. The CAD-CAM process is another. Then this part require 3D machining.... it should be a range from $500 - $800 if you really want to get it done ...

you can try to machine new mounts, grind off the existing spoilt ones
and epoxy the new ones on.
Since the part already damaged, no harm trying
