Sherline RPM Gage

One of my customer Mr Bernie had pointed a link of a Sherline RPM gage.

It allow you to know what is your RPM under home flourescent light.

Its actually in Sherline website but somehow, I didnt see it myself

aiyo ... at this level, i think just use max speed lah! Max speed also quite slow one... haha

this call for a test,
result = you can if you are under flourescent light,
i try it under day light, just circles.

unless you get it pin point centre, you will get 2 or more image line.

the test is done using a small brushed motor, without blade.
you can see the change as the speed increase and decrease.

The Sherline "3-axis Mill Digital Readout, P/N 8100 (8160)" - http://www.sherline.com/8100pg.htm can also display RPM as it comes with a RPM sensor.

You can also purchase 3rd party speed encoder and link it to Mach3 to display the RPM in Mach3. Cool ya?
