Hi

Just a question on how to find out the C Ratings and the capacity of a LiPo if the stickers either totally worn or worst still not there?

In other words, how to find out the battery mAh and C ratings if Lipo has no stickers to show.

Can the Wattmeter help?

The mah is easy to find out, just run it wif a wattmeter till the voltage hits 3.3V per cell and read off the wattmeter the mah reading.

The C rating, this is the manufacturer given specs. Only way is to contact the manufacturer. Many china manufacturers give inaccurate C ratings on their lipo. If unknown, best is to treat them as 15C or below rating.

That only gives you the mhA of what is in the pack before discharge.
Than charge the pack through the wattmeter till full, that reading will be roughly the current capacity of the pack.

Thanks for the tips. Er, after tearing of the shrink covering, where to find replacement shrink coverings here in Singapore? Hobby shops have?
