G E Power Lipo Batteries

Hi, want to know if anyone has tried out this Lipo batteries. Am interested on the 2200maH 25C discharge see link.

I using the new Mystery 2200mah 25C leh, cheap ($60) and good so far
Pull below 3v before also never bloat.

The one you mention is made in where?

Hi Happy, I use the Mystery 2100mah 20C , they don't last more than 6months before showing signs of degradation, I am careful to only discharge the Mystery batt to 12C rate max and kept my flight short so that at least 25% reserve after every flight.

The 2200maH 25C Mystery packs looks kind of new . How long have you been flying with this brand?

What heli you fly? sad to hear that, so far i used it for just a month for the 25C but i do have other like 1500mah, it's still working after 3months+.

Is yours the orange or white packaging one? Previous White packaging ones not too good. I had 1 1500mah white one which bloat

Hi Happy, the 1800maH G.E. batt i got is a white one. There is no shrink wrap at all. They are extremely light wt. and with dean weight 141 grams on the digital weighing scales.

Just had 1 min of Flight time at half throttle . I parallel 2 packs so they are 3s with a total capcity of 3600maH . Max current drain during test only 10 seconds is around 42amps with both packs running at the same time on the ground .

Will be running more test soon.

Oh.....so we had the same model ones
The new one i try seems much improved in terms of packaging and power, but the price factor is the plus point for me hehe........ I got mine from maniarc.com, hopefully it will still go strong as it is now in months to come.

Oops, thought you refering to the mystery ones. May i know where you get the GE ones? Do they have the 2200 20C version? how much it cost?

Hi Happy, the mystery Packs I use is 3S 2100mAH 20C or3S 1800mAH comes in silvery white wrapping.
None of the Mystery I use has bloated but they deteriote after about 50 discharge.
Usage as I mention before seldom over 12C and retaining charge left-over after every flight is 20-30% or 3.6-3.7V per cells

I use balance charge and even manually re-balance the cells individually if the need arise.

I fly plane ...mostly EDF'S

i used 15c GE power before.........
one time when im charging, the battery becomes very warm..
in the end, it damage my charge and bloated...
and the other.......... the balancing connecting wire just came off
and have to open the wrap and solder.......

GE power is the lower batteries in china
now most people go for himodel batteries......
they are in red wrapping and serving me for 6 months liao.....
still go and carrying on.....
btw im flying heli

if you flying planes, i think you can use GE power because of the low
in price and the heavy landings......
