That video may have marginally prompted me to buy the liposack - but for sure, it makes me wonder if I should get rid of my lipos. Very scary....

The videos at least reminds us that lipos are as dangerous as it comes. Just treat lipos like you would treat fuel: with lots of care.

hi bro...not sure if can used ar not after "explosion".. so far on Jet's web, its stated as "Coming soon" don't know how long more.

I presume manufacturer may not make it useable or at least one or two times reuseable....

the problem is, should such thing happen, it will be a bad experience and we hope not to see it in action man....other than storing our lipos.

for me, I use a metal container and store all my lipos in bathroom on a higher shelf.

best is to check your lipos as often as possible for weak wrappings or punctured points...

it seems like a fibre glass cloth bag to me.
Anyone know at what temperatue is the cell burning?

could also store the batteries in tin cans or metal cans, to let it burn inside instead of speading the fire around. BUT the problem is, there is no space for the gas to be release (unless uncovered), lid will probably fly off

this method could only be used when charging (lid off)to let the fire burn inside without spreading

*the safest way is to ensure that your batteries is well taken care of

                            It could not be reused.
                            I have seen them all.

Yes, it is fibre glass cloth bag with fire coating around 1000 degree F / 540 degrees C. That would be enough to contain the burning cells. The size is 9" x 12". I would provide more information as soon as possible.
