Some notebook adaptor is 12V. Most of them are switch mode power supply.

I did see a small switch mode power supply adaptor in handifix before also.

Power Supply for T15

I heard in many cases, using the computer adaptor work fine.

However, I have tried once with a 12V adaptor (meant for portable DVD player) which could power up the T15 but could not successfully charge the battery (automatically stop charging after few seconds). I later noticed that the DC output from that adaptor was not very well regulated. When I used a different power suppler (voltage very stable), my T15 worked normally. Therefore I think the T15 needs a good regulated PS, check before you buy.

Do you really need 15A? I only use a 2.5A for my T15 as most of the time I only charge Lipo and dont think I need more then that for now.

Perhaps I am wrong but 15A transformer (good one) will not be cheap. Better to consider what current you actually need to have bro.

the triton also requires about 15 to 16 amps... tried to use my laptop adaptor but it was rated at 16v, 4.5 amps... i believe it did not work because the operating voltage is 12 to 15v.

U can get a PS from this guy... think his nick is faunie... got mine from him, 12 v, 18 amp, and working nicely.

preset at 12v, 3.5A.

B. toshiba ac adapter laptop ps,
output 12v, 5A

Thats what i tot... guess my laptop adaptor @16V too much... dun know why the chargers need so high amps also.

i think i do need as not only need to charge lipo for heli. i have a few other r/c cars need charging .
