    Check this out at a/c world..

    ADVISORY - A "balance" charger made in Taiwan and marketed under several names - Tamazo?enLipo en-CRG4?NOVATECH B8080, and possibily others - will overcharge lithium packs. (termination voltage per cell as high as 4.32V). DO NOT use these chargers!

    dont see any charger which you mentioned there. could it be the balancer you're referring to. that one is made by hyperion though.

      There it is mentioned... never seen any balancer charger in the LHS yet.

        Tahmazo TL4 Charger from SHS

        FYI, the tahmazo charger , with 4 LED build in balancer will only stop charging when each cell reach 4.3V. Not too sure will it actually spoil the battery. I found out when i measured the cell with an external voltmeter during the charging process. My Triton charger will stop at 4.2V for individual cell charging.

          I tried my set, it stop at 4.27. higher than most charger. I normally use it to do balance charge and real peak charge once a while.

            We are always advised to stay at 4.2V or below that.... although the actual tolerances are higher... but you know lipos.... lesser charge current, longer shell life.... Thunderpower website got a list of what nots and what to's .. heck, the new tp packs I got from Ammo also got an elaborate writeup ... esp. saying not to pass 4.2V!
