Nine Eagles Solo Pro 180 FBL Mini Helicopter Analysis...

I've received Nine Eagles Solo Pro 180 2 days ago. Just maiden today out of raw fun. Box is packed in reversed from China where I'm surprised.


Precision is there. The impressive part is that the Transmitter can be changed from mode 1 to mode 2 via a simple lever switch behind! On top of that, the transmitter can wirelessly transfer profiles across to another TX on receive mode. We're shocked indeed to see this excellent feature!

Nine Eagles have standalone ESC & brushless motors with servos ready in-built. It is a killer apart from MCPx indeed as servo drives the tail. After a few flights between us mode 1 & 2 players subsequently, the TX blank out suddenly as it was powered by our test Lipo 11.1V 3S battery. Opening up the TX, the wires have to be exerted for conductivity contact assurance. Seems like QC has yet to reach perfectionism. Or the assembly train is drunk after few cans of beer.

After pressing on in this disassembly scrutiny, the LCD works perfect. The heli is precise & could be better tuned to hold in tail movements. Bearing in mind it is torque tube, never bang too hard less your tail gear gets stripped!

Bro which TX after blacking out still can work? Or were you referring to some fail safe function?

Throttle and pitch curves if can adjust already considered very good liao i think.. for 150-200 we gotta be honest with ourselves and be realistic in our demands..

I would be worried if it has everything because then something is probably wrong somewhere.. cause if they can squeeze all that technology under that price tag surely they need to sacrifice something right.. haha sorry i ex-econs student thats why i always very pessimistic about things..

Yeah, indeed miraculously yes & tested...Blank out is becoz of connector inside. No worries. Response still in control. TX is 6channel with 5points. Back battery is 8xAA or can be powered via JST connector to Lipo 3S...Behind has trainer port too...But I've yet to test on simulator.

It feels the real birdie...

Oredi PM u bro. However, weblinks like those are filtered. I've tested many times in the links to you. It could have been sponsorship issues or vendor LHS competitiveness interest reasons. Links like those could see "Starwars"...

Anyway, it's like learning an additional Transmitter again & I'll put more details on the parameters. I really had a challenge interpreting quick what they are trying to mean...

Additional Rectification Torque Tube Analysis Nine Eagles Solo Pro 180 3D FBL.

After much flights that day, the front torque tube loosen up. Senior had sense gear not stripped which I did scrutinized after turning few rounds. An hour ago, I had dismantled the base & tube, observed with microscopic naked eye the front flat tube to the bevel gear is loose even after pushing much way in with little force.


Therefore, CA is applied a tiny little trickle on the shaft tip before slot in the gear. It works perfect for now & took off holding without spinning away on tail. For all you guys who intended to handle this do note. Btw, the precision is there. Do mount plate first before put back main gear, otherwise movement will not be smooth!

To add; if the transmitter works with Phoenix 3.0, it will be the cheapest CCPM 3D TX for that Spectrum feel....

PS: You need delicate fingers like woman to do & patience bros...

Finally proven Nine Eagles J6 Transmitter works with Phoenix 3.0 even in 3D Modes!

j1n61e & ianwong > Good news, Nine Eagle Transmitter J6 works perfect with Phoenix 3.0 even in 3D modes! No glitches!

Just use the E-Sky Adaptor like those pictures attached to join your Phoenix cable or compatible cords to interface. Calibrate as custom as you usually do. If it is too fast, set to 50% expo on your collective cyclics & rudder as you like it...



Jethobby has on web st S$8 but has yet to update as they've no more stock. Rotor Hobby has the interface cord (S$13) pin out adaptor but comes together in a few interface cables. It is not the last picture direct to the USB interface module. Just the adaptor is enuff! Do note!

Actually it is quite easy to fabricate once we've the pin out signals but because of 2 simple reasons that we're busy or lazy & dun have the time to cool off...

PS: Goodness! It is one of the cheapest simulator TX with such feel, plus works up to windows 7! Align 100S cannot even 3D plus their FMS only works on Windows XP.
