Apache 2030 battery with Etec 1250

Usually when i charge the lipo, the light indicator would not blink and will show charging . But somehow today when I tried charging, the light showed that the battery is charging and after a few seconds shows its full.

What do i need to do ? Discharge it fully ? it seems to power on when i put it on my plane but after a few seconds ( about 10s) the engine will die due to low battery.

what next ? new battery ?

Are u charging wif 12V Lead Seal Acid? Cause if thats the case the blinking light could mean that the 12V is weak.

yes check your SLA if u r using that... use a voltmeter to measure. anything below 12V indicates weak batt. ur apache can charge SLA batts rite?

nope im not . Im using a 12V dc charger . I Charged another lipo and it still works so I ruled out that the DC power source and the Apache is not working . REason?

I charged 2X Ni-cd and another Lipo which i bought today so I dont think its the charger nor Power source.

Could it be my etec wiring ? I find that sometimes the etec isnt detected when i plugged in to charge and after adjustments than the charge light swtiches on. Im not using those dean connectors or what.. Its those normal battery connector that's red in colour .

Should I buy a connector for the battery to retry ?

It is not advisable to use a 12 dc charger as a power supply for the Apache charger, unless u know for sure the it is nothing more than a regulated power supply.

Sounds like u have bad connections between batt and charger.
