There are modified quick chargers (charging at 15V instead of 12V) included in the stock package. These will speed up charging of 650mAh 8.4V battery packs from 1hr+ to 30-45mins.

You should not be unduly alarmed at the high voltages. Batteries usually drain out at 8.4V+ (heli cannot hover high anymore). After charging it is NORMAL to hit between 9.8V and 10V+.

I supposed this natural occurence also helps in high current discharge during flights (higher voltage to dispense larger current into the main rotor motor). The batteries are high drain type to sustain high rotor rpm for flights and run flat very quickly (in 10-15mins for NiMh) even though charging can sometimes take more than 1hr!! Hee

if u are using the standard wall charger, 1/2 hrs charging is not enuh.
check your charger and see what is the charging current.

Example: if your wall charger charging current is 100mA, then you need to charge at least 6.8 hrs for your 680mA batt.

Ya, dont worry bout the voltage. It can go up to about 10+ volts if fully charge.
