Difference between Sub 'C' and AA Size Batteries

Nowadays, a single AA size batteries can go up to 2500 mah

Will a sub C size battery of the same capacity in mah last longer then a AA size battery rated at the same capacity?

    Thanks

they can store but cannot give high discharge!!!

      so a 2400 AA and a sub C 2400 is different

try drawing 40amps from a sub c and it will be hot but it will give.
try drawing 40 amps from a AA 2400 , it kill it self and may catch fire.

dont be fooled by the numbers.
i'm a rc sotong. And i know nuts about it.

Can't charge it as fast as sub-c.

If AA can deliver the current Lipos won't be that hot!

Is the current delivery of LiPo still pale when compared to a similarly rated NiMh/NiCD sub-C?
For some people it's important to show what they have, for others it's sufficient to know that they have it.

I was refering to AA nimh, it can't deliver the amps like the similiar wt lipos can without self destruction.

IMO 20C lipo out performs the sub C

                    a 2400 AA and a 2400 Sub-c...

                    can be compared to...

                    a 1.5L bottle and a 1.5L cup.

both same capacity but the 1.5L cup can pour more water out at one time...

anyway if flying anything nitro, better not use AA...
my AA 2500 cells, when moving all the servos cannot support all the current draw. the voltage will drop like crazy. too low voltage and everything will turn off. getting a proper sub-c and charger is much better...

Thanks, great info. How to tell if a cell can support high current draw? Is it the fatter the better?....sub c is fatter than AA....
