the higher the amp,can charge more batteries at a shorter time?Higher amp higher power?? Whats the minimum amp requirement for li-polymer chargers than?Thank you.

Amp is like water in litres....it is related to hours.
eg. Fuel consumption per KM

Your battery is your fuel tank.
A 2 amps battery is like a fuel tank with 2litres.

If your car drinks 1litre per km, how many km can your tank last b4 u need a top up?

Same goes for battery....if your battery(tank) is 2amps (2 litres), your device is rated 1amps(1km) current draw, how long can your battery last in theory?


Say you travelled 1km....your fuel tank would have used 1 litre, leaving 1 litre in for another 1km of run time. So how much u have to top up your fuel tank to make it run for another 2km?


Same theory for batteries. Get it?

Power supply + Charger = Refueling rig


power supply supply current to your charger depending on what the charger wants, which in relation to how much the battery can take it.

(ie. A strong pump is required to pump petrol into a car, but it also depends on how large the car's fuel nozzle can take.)

Eg. My pump can supply fuel to my car at 1 litre per hour (damn slow i must say).... so your pump is your power supply in this case.....but your car can take in fuel at a much faster rate......so can u still put fuel in your car? YES...but slower becoz your pump only gives out 1 litre per hour.

Same theory for the powersupply....if your charger needs 2amps to charge a battery, but your powersupply cannot give out 2amps, then you need to slow charge your cells at 1amp, it will still charge, but it will take longer time...
