How to best store charged Lipos?

After reading so many horror stories about Lipos, I am thinking of a strategy to safely store them.

Is it advisable to store them in the fridge freezer?

I am thinking of putting the batteries individually in Ziplocs with some silica gel and them put them in the fridge freezer compartment.

    Freezing Lithiums damages them. http://www.batteryuniversity.com/parttwo-34.htm
Lithiums are dangerous, but they dont blow up on their own, or we wont be using them. Common causes of Li-po fires are over-discharging/ charging and physical damage as in the case of a crash. Take it easy.
