4 lipos tested ..their results

Ok was in at Jet hobbies and he offered me 2 batteries to test with the other batteries that I have and here is the results.

I think the power graph is the all important one ..here are the four batteries tested at 11 amps continious draw.

I think you will notice that the Poly quest one packs quite a punch initaly going up to about 125w where most were about the 115 -16 scale

the poly quest also held the voltage a bit more towards the end as well ( despite being 100mah more )
well I will let you decide on the results. I will do a high current draw too soon 15 amps.

my impressions....
1600 JK volts 3s4p ..great inital punch ..lasts for about 2-3 min then settles down in to a continious rate and has good power till the very end. a slight drop in Head speed at about 20 sec near the end. Temp during discharge was about 60'c ..price ??? TBC

1700 E tec ..great battery for the cost and weight ..good constant power throughout and is also good till the last drop power tapers a bit towards the end at about the 30 sec mark. temp during discharge about 56'c

OEM jet ... 1800 mah ...good enough for hover and general fligh but I dont think it can handle the high current draw of 3d flight at all tapers very early at about 1 min befoer the end of the battery.
Temp during discharge 63'c

polyquest 1800 ..great battery has heaps of punch at the start and last for about 4 min or so and is able to put out the continious current. It has no problem with hard punches and would be a great battery fo 3d I think. its also rather light. this pack did get the hottest of all the three packs during the test with a max temp of 68'c ..price????

I will try the high current draw soon and post the results

I guess they are due for a workout at ur place too!!
