Hi Folks!
Want to let go of my favourite mini warbird, the F4U Cosair.
Condition: 8/10 (Scratches on underside of fuselage due to belly landing at "botak" CD field ) Other than that, it looks brand new as per the picture below:
This version by FMS is one of the most scale flying warbird that i have flown. The original set up is using only 2S 1000 battery. But i have upgraded it nicely to run on 3S 1000-1500 batt. Here are my mods:
1) Upgrade to Hobbyking 2825-1950kv Funfighter Replacement Brushless Outrunner motor. Screamer!
2) Upgraded ESC to Plush 30A so that it never gets hot
3) Upgraded to 2 Blade 8x3.8 Props
4) Modified the Canopy hatch so that you dont have to squeeze to put the battery in. Its a perfect fit for my Zippy 3S 1500 Batts.
This baby flies like she is on rails. Can do very slow and low passes as well! Stall rates are low. Very predictable plane for a warbird. The rolls are really nice because of the "W" shaped wings! I like this Yellow-Silver scheme more than the Marine Blue one.
Letting her go for $80!
Let me know if you keen. FCFS!
