    plus

    5mm motor x 3/16 flex collet Reverse

Any idea what kind of motor mounts to get as I understand theres very little room to work with twin motors in cats. Appreciate if you could show a link to the available types of motor mounts.

As for props, I don't know how to sharpen or detounge ......... so should I go for carbon ones????
Such as Graupner carbon & what size (mm & pitch) should I choose???

    Appreciate all your responses.....

& What kinda speeds can I be looking at........... hehehehe
& lastly what else should I be shopping for to complete this boat.....

What do u hope to achieve from this cat? Berserk speeds? Normal sport boating with decent speed? Decent speed with maximum play time?

          Thx Adrianli.... 2000 - 2200kv roger that

          Battle fury:
I want something that is not too slow & boring..... but not berserk speeds.......
Is 70km/h achievable for this kinda hull with 4s???? or should I be looking at 5s instead??????

Anyway I've been eyeing this motor mount...... Wonder if any bros have used it?? Any pros & cons to them??

U should be able to achieve 40-50mph. My Twin Cat is now running on 5S and 1800kv outrunners, they clock 50mph on GPS.

I am using Vac-U-Boat motor mount for my Twin Cat. Cos I like the top of the mount is open so it is easier for me to remove or install the motor. Just loosen the screws and slide it out. No need to fully unscrew the bolts.

i used the second mount in the pic for my Twin cat. for that you can either choose to mount it free standing which will result a S bend of your stuffing tube OR you can angle them in a way which will result a gradual bend of the stuffing tube. both ways will work the trick is to make the bend less or abruptly as possible.

Do a search in OSE rivercat fightercat 32, you can take reference from there. twin 4s with 2200kv will give you decent speed with about 4.30-5 mins playtime with 8000mah x45 props. i have two leopards 4074 motors for sale if you interested

                          Hull strengthening

                          Bros,

any one had experience with the u/m 2 materials on boat hulls? was thinking of using either 1 to strengthen the hull?

                          specs:
Woven from 3K Carbon Fiber and Dupont Kevlar-29.
Our Kevlar/CF composite cloth has a tensile strength 5 times stronger than steel! Making it a seriously strong material for creating indestructible jet fuel tanks, spinners, cowls or even funky clear coated canopies.
Use epoxy resin, Araldite, or 2 part glue to form and set the sheet.
Create that perfect battery tray, repair your foamie to bulletproof status or even make servo and motor mounts!
Our Kevlar/CF fabric comes in rolled two sheets; 500mm x 1000mm

                          specs:
100% woven glass fiber sheet. (MEDIUM WEIGHT)
Excellent for repairing or forming your own canopy, cowl or pretty much anything. Use epoxy resin, Araldite, or 2 part glue to form and set the sheet.
Create that perfect battery tray, repair your foamie to bulletproof status or even make servo and motor mounts!
Glass fibre cloth comes in a single sheet 1000mm x 500mm

Any pros & cons for the above?
                          Appreciate all responses........
