WTS : Brand New Decathlon 1.6m wingspan, OS 55 engine, unflown
Hello guys, I am selling a brand new, unflown but fully assembled Phoenix models Bellanca Decathlon. I bought this model a few years ago with the intention of flying it after installing the electrics. Four years and two kids later, it is still waiting......
It is an ideal high-wing plane, nice & stable with a great glide ratio. It comes with a pre-installed OS 55 nitro engine, though I am not sure how that runs, that was in the plane when I bought it from the 1st owner. It also comes with two pre-installed servos for the ailerons on the underside of the wings. These are also brand new but unused for a few years. No other electronics with the plane, you will need to install the rest of the servos, receiver, battery, etc.
It comes with all the original decals, control arms (needs horns) and wing struts (uninstalled). This plane is 95% ready to fly, all the assembly work has been done. Obviously as it is unflown it has no damage. Airframe is still in brand new condition.
