The Trex Photo Contest 2014

Hi,

We would like to announce the Trex Photo Contest 2014, organised and sponsored by Zenm Tech - The sole Align distributor in Singapore.


Rules:

1. Post the photos of your Trex helis to this thread.
2. Contestants must be the owner of the Trex helis in all the photos.
3. Min photo is 3 and max 10 photos per post.
4. Contestants can post more than one Trex helis in a photo, but only Trex helis are allowed to appear in any photos. No Trex clone, please.
4. The resolution of your photos should not exceed 800 pixels (width).
5. The contest starts immediately and close on 31 March.
6. Result announcement will be on 10 April.
7. Judges: All the DH members. Members will vote and select the top three entries from 1 to 9 April. All members are free to post comments at any time.
8. Criteria: Just be creative, entertaining, and have fun.
9. Prize: One Trex 150 (RH15E01XT) with extra box of batteries for each top three contestants.
10. Prize collection: Any time after 10 Apr, at Zenm Tech’s showroom. The prizes must be collected by the contestants personally before 30 May 2014.

Q&A

Q: I only have one Trex, can I join the contest.
A: Yes, sure.

Q: I have a Trex nitro, it is okay?
A: Why not?

Q: My Trex heli is very old and it is flybar, it is okay?
A: Old is good.

Q: My Trex heli is not working, can’t fly.
A: No one can tell that from a photo, unless your heli does not have a tail boom or main rotor.

Q: Do I need to be a DH member?
A: Yes, only members can post on DH.

Q: Really any Trex heli is okay?
A: Really.

Q: Can I edit my photos after I submit the post?
A: Yes, you can. You can change any of your photos so long it is before the closing date.

Q: What if only 3 persons or less taking part in the contest?
A: Then all the contestants are winners.

Q: The prize is a new Trex 150?
A: NIB for both heli and batteries.

Q: If I win, can I exchange the Trex 150 with other items.
A: I am afraid no.

Q: Am I allowed to sell the Trex 150 if I win?
A: It is your Trex 150, you can do anything you like.

Q: Must my Trex be purchased from Zenm Tech.
A: No.

Q: I can’t even hover well, can I join the contest.
A: Yes, why not. This is not a flying contest.

Q: Can old birds join the contest?
A: All birds are welcome. LOL.

I hope we can tweak the rules.
This is a photography contest, and if the photographer needs to be the owner then he cannot be the one flying it and we will have none in action flying and all static shots.
So are we rewarding the photographer or the one owning it.
Some of the forum users may have some really nice shots but they are not the owner of the craft.
This could stop a lot of nice photos being posted and defeat the purpose of this contest.
