Hobbyking Slick 3D 1295mm Balsa ARF for S$100.
This is an almost exact replica of the 3D Hobby Shop (3DHS) AJ Slick 51in. Almost because the quality is different.
In terms of flying, I feel it is the same as the AJSlick. It will do all the usual 3D stuff and effortlessly. Can tumbe multiple times without losing much height.
Flat, invert and knife spins effortly. And recovery is almost instant. Harrier with no wing rocks, and hovers easily. What you would expect of a good 30e 3D plane.
So why am I selling? I bought it out of curiosity. I already have the AJ-Slick 51 and now also the 30cc 70in one.
So hope that someone else will be able to put in more flight-time, rather than it sitting in my store. It's a value for money way to start 3D.
It cost S$200 to get it here, so $100 is a reasonable price. Plane is in good condition, only the undercarriage needed repair because of a bad landing. Anyway the quality of the undercarriage construction was really bad. Now it is properly reinforced.
For equipments, just check the 51in AJSlick at 3DHS. Uses the same stuffs.
