Motor mount done. Now I have options with removable spacers for the Neu or Hacker gearbox

Last night I built up the control module. I use a thin ply as a tongue and taped the bec,rx batt and rx to the tongue. This allows easy insertion into the rear of the fuse as well as easy extraction.

More work done on the 4B

Since the nose is removable, I had to install a blind nut on the nose. A matching hole in the fuse allows a 3mm screw to lock onto the nose.
The NACA inlet was then cut, epoxied from the inside reinforced with carbon cloth.

The RW4B has a slightly shorter nose of about 15mm and a longer tail of 30mm. As you can see the wing saddle side by side with the old plane, the Naca exit and Chps plug is further back allowing for longer battery packs.....A 5S2S to be exact.

Managed to squeeze the unilog in to see what is she really doing. Here is snap shot of one of 4th climb out of 11 which was vertical......look at the yellow line that tracks the climb rate...sure puts a smile on one's face

Is that Kapton tape you're using to stick all the electronics together?

You build a tongue out of thin plywood and reinforce it with glass fibre tape

Than you use kapton to wrap the BEC, BEC battery and RX and also all the cables etc in a neat package and slide the whole assembly into the rear of the fuse with the tongue long enough so you can push and pull on the whole module from the wing saddle opening.
