Yah man, the wind and lift this season is fantastic! My Strega was zooming around, doing loops, rolls, dives and inverted flights on 40% lead ballasts. My mini Salto was screaming around the slope for 3 days until it lost control and smashed itself onto the slope face. Luckily, the plane is still repairable.

I haven't got this kind of wind since 2005.

Here's my contribution. Not much of flying shots, though.
The Big Buddha site is probably the windiest place in Phuket.

We found a nice coffee stop along the drive path down from Big Buddha. Very pretty and cozy.

The best way to chill off during the day without getting drunk, is Magnus and Salaloy's Coconut shake, of course!

Sorry need to ask a noob question , how do you guys transport your glider and lipo's to oversea and to arrive in 1 piece ? I was at phuket from 21 july til 26 july , was very tempted to bring my foamie glider to fly there but had no idea how to do it safely and arrive in one piece . And also same goes for the 3s 2200mah lipos .

I guess you can't really determine the wind direction by which way those big windmills are pointing

Make a corroplast box and we don't use lipo. There no motor.
